We provide engaging programs and activities that are designed to help you get “to and through” college.

We do this by leading you through meaningful reflection activities that help you imagine the possibilities for your life and develop a journey map based on your unique strengths, interests, personal goals, and career goals. In addition to our live events, many of our programs are offered online for your convenience.

Building Your Brand

Many students believe their personal brand is determined by a resume, their social media presence, and their dress-for-success appearances. Although these are important outcomes of developing a personal brand, this workshop explores the actions that are at the root of building a brand that propels you toward the life of your dreams. This highly interactive workshop will help you explore important skill sets that will get the attention of future employers and/or maybe even help you excel in your own business. (Target Audience: College Students)

COMPASS COLLEGE PREP WORKSHOP

Many students think college preparation is all about financial planning, SAT/ACT scores, college tours, and college applications. Although these are important aspects, they do not address the actions that are at the root of preparing for college - actions that not only will help them get “to” college but also “through” college. This engaging workshop will help high school students reflect on their life goals, identify strengths and interests, understand the role of mindset in achieving their goals, and develop a journey map to guide them through the college exploration process. (Target Audience: High-School Students)

Dream Outside the Box Tour

This engaging, two-day bus tour is designed to familiarize you with careers “off the beaten path.” The action-packed schedule kicks off with a pre-tour workshop that helps you identify your key strengths and interests, explore careers based on both, and engage with professionals even if you do not know exactly what to ask. Once on the road, you and your parents will have numerous opportunities to interact with highly successful professionals in their work environments. The tour will conclude with a follow-up workshop to encourage continued exploration. (Target Audience: Middle-School and High-School Students)

Get In and Out: Mapping Your College Journey

For most students, the goal is to get in and out of college on the way to a successful career. This workshop reframes the concept of getting in and out by helping you develop a strategy for getting the most out of your college experience – both in and outside the classroom. Through a series of reflection activities, you will re-examine misconceptions you may have about the purpose of college and get energized by developing a journey map that will make your experiences more meaningful and purposeful so you can realize your personal and career goals. (Target Audience: College Students)

Coaching services

We offer individual, one-hour live or virtual coaching sessions for high-school and college students to help you develop a journey map for college that builds on your unique combination of skills and interests.

FOLLOW G.P.S. TO YOUR FUTURE

Many students have big dreams for the future but often do not know the steps to achieving these dreams. As a result, they frequently overlook opportunities in their daily lives that can give them direction and help them chart a course that will lead to success. This interactive workshop will utilize the G.P.S. (goals, preparation, and strategies) curriculum to help them connect everyday activities with their unique strengths and interests so they find more purpose in what they do and enjoy exploring possibilities for their future. (Target Audience: Middle-School and High-School Students)

take charge

Many students view their college education as a check-the-box type of activity. Go to classes. Do papers. Take exams. And at the end, walk away with a diploma that will magically lead to the life and career of their dreams. Taking such a passive approach often leads to disappointment and unfulfilled dreams. This workshop is designed to help you “take charge” of your educational experiences by helping you connect everything you do in college with your unique strengths, interests, personal goals, and career goals so your degree has more value and leads to the life of your dreams. (Target Audience: College Students)

V4E Back-to-School Workshop

Better than a pep rally, this two-part workshop, which pairs well with community and church back-to-school activities, is designed to re-energize parents and students for the upcoming school year. You will learn that you are already equipped with all you need to take on the challenges you will face in the upcoming school year, and your parents are provided with high-impact parenting tips for supporting your academic pursuits.
